The picturesque village of Zola, is located at the northern point of the peninsula of Paliki, which joins it with the rest of the island of Kefalonia.
Zola is a quiet fishing village with about 100 residents, who are tripled during the summer months. Residents mainly deal with fishing and tourism and they are very friendly with a tremendous sense of humor.
The village is located at approximately the same distance from the capital Argostoli and the second largest town, Lixouri. In Zola you will find peace, quiet and relaxation in nature.
In the picturesque port of Zola shelter the fishing boats in the area and you can rent one to explore the many beautiful beaches of Kefalonia like Fteri and Amidi. There are also the organized beaches Vouti and Aghia Kyriaki with their crystal waters.
They have sunbeds, canteens and water sports and there are restaurants along the beach where you can enjoy fresh fish and traditional meal after your swimming. In Vouti and at the canteen of famous Alladin, you can enjoy coffee and meals with the blue waters of the beach at your feet.
The village has a number of tourist accommodation, and if you love nature, here you can go for a walk different paths, swim in the clear waters of the Ionian Sea, explore different areas or simply relax at the Tsagari's tavern up the village with the delicious appetizers and the beautiful view of the Ionian sea.
